Oceania Open 2025

Oceania Aquatics is pleased to announce that the inaugural Oceania Open Artistic Swimming Championships will take place this year in Wellington, New Zealand, from 19th to 23rd September 2025.

The competition will be held in conjunction with the 2025 New Zealand National Championships.
The Oceania Open will be held each year, with hosting alternating between New Zealand and Australia (in September and April, respectively). Typically, both countries have international competitors at their National Championships from New Caledonia and a number of Pacific rim/Asian countries.
The introduction of the Oceania Open will, we hope, encourage wider fields in search of international competition.
Entries are welcome from both International Federations and Clubs. As a Continental Competition, this event complies with the World Aquatics’ requirements for a Tier 2 event and will feature all the World Aquatics events and categories (excluding Masters, though this may change in the future).

Experienced officials have been appointed with Jo Burns as the Referee supported by Michaela Belworthy, Krisztina Szedlak as the Lead TC supported by Luciana Garcia Genta, and Irene Hawes has been appointed as the Evaluator.

Preliminary entries will be called for in 30 May and close on 30 June, with final entries closing on 30 July.
